The new issue of the Journal of the Alamire Foundation presents the latest research on the Leuven Chansonnier, completing the series of articles from the previous issue. The contributions by David Fallows, Sigrid Harris, Honey Meconi, and the article authored jointly by Bram Geelen, David Burn, and Bart De Moor illuminate the chansonnier from different angles. Guest editor for the theme section is our staff member Ryan O'Sullivan, who is preparing a doctoral research on this fifteenth-century songbook. Michael Beauvois's free paper argues for a new chanson attribution to the composer Johannes Cesaris, working at the court of Jean de Berry.

The Journal of the Alamire Foundation provides a critical forum for the latest and leading research on music in or related to the Low Countries from the Middle Ages to the end of the Ancien Régime. All issues are available online at Brepols Online.
