On the occasion of the Day of Science on 23 November, we would like to draw your attention to the XR media installation 'rondeau / forty-nine*', developed by the Alamire Foundation as part of the SBO/FWO project 'New Perspectives on Medieval and Renaissance Courtly Song'.
Until 22 February, you can take in this high-tech, immersive sound and visual artwork in the exhibition The Pursuit of Knowledge at Museum M Leuven.
If you would like to learn more about the Leuven Chansonnier and the scientific context in which the installation was created, we invite you to visit M Leuven at Museum Night on 26 November. During this nocturne, staff members Aletheia Vanackere and Valerio Lorenzoni (ESAT) will present a series of short ‘600-second talks’.
More information and tickets are available on the KU Leuven website.
