Queen Mathilde visits the Alamire Foundation

Tuesday, February 4 2020 Queen Mathilde pais a visit to the Alamire Foundation.  She first visited the Library of Voices, in the renovated Saint Norbert's Gate, and then enjoyed a concert in the House of Polyphony.

Queen Mathilde, following in the footsteps of Queen Fabiola, is Patron of the Alamire Foundation. The Permanent High Patronage of a member of the Royal Family is a moral favour granted for a period of two or five years to an association based in Belgium. The association must have a good reputation and pursue laudable objectives of a sporting, humanitarian, cultural or scientific nature.

This is the first time that Her Majesty has visited the organization.
