In order to optimally conduct the research of the Leuven Chansonnier, both academic and practice-oriented, the Leuven Chansonnier Fund was established in July 2017 at the Morgan Library & Museum in New York, in collaboration with the King Baudouin Foundation. This fund offers the Alamire Foundation the opportunity to further direct the multidisciplinary study of this Flemish masterpiece and to disseminate its results worldwide.

Every donation will facilitate scholarly research and valorization of the fifty songs in The Leuven Chansonnier. You can also endow one or more of these exquisite fifteenth-century French chansons, twelve of which were completely unknown before the Leuven Chansonnier was discovered and survive in no other known source. Each song will be sponsored by a single donor.

As donor you will enjoy the following benefits:

• your name will be mentioned in all publications related to the Leuven Chansonnier

Three endowments are possible:

  Endow one of the twelve unique compositions.
• Silver: €12.500,-
  Endow one of the other thirty-eight compositions.
• Bronze: €6.250,-
  Endow the entire collection.
