On the basis of a coproduction agreement, the Alamire Foundation fulfils a content-based assignment for AMUZ (Festival of Festival of Flanders – Antwerp). Since 2009, the foundation has taken final artistic responsibility for the compilation of the concert seasons at AMUZ, the music centre in the heart of Antwerp that focuses on Historically Informed Performance of musical heritage of the past and present. Bart Demuyt fulfils the role of AMUZ’s general and artistic director. The partnership between the Alamire Foundation and AMUZ offers the opportunity to valorize the results of scientific research conducted in Leuven on an international concert stage.
