In 2015, the Alamire Foundation discovered an unknown fifteenth-century songbook

This unique discovery can count on worldwide interest. On 11 and 12 July 2017, 39 international experts studied the Leuven Chansonnier for the first time. This session at Flanders House, New York, marked the start of the scientific study of this extraordinary piece of musical heritage. In the run-up to the world premiere of the complete rendition of the Leuven Chansonnier during Laus Polyphoniae 2018, a follow-up conference was organized at which international researchers were again brought together to continue the research on this unique songbook.
