The five-day symposium is co-organized by our colleagues from the Department of Electrical Engineering (ESAT) at KU Leuven, our long-standing partner in innovative research into the relationship between the source, performance, and historical spaces in which plainchant and polyphony originally sounded.

In the context of this partnership, the Alamire Foundation is supporting one of the cultural activities included in the conference programme. On 1 September, two exclusive organ recitals will take place in the magnificent St. Salvator’s Cathedral for EUSiPCO participants, performed by titular organist Ignace Michiels.
