From historical performance practice and acoustics to organology, the programme showcased a wide range of subjects, demonstrating the vitality of the field. A delegation from Leuven was also present in the Polish capital, including colleagues David Burn, Antonio Chemotti, Henry Drummond, Paul Newton-Jackson, Brett Kostrzewski, and Deanna Pellerano. Scott Metcalfe, meanwhile, presented his forthcoming critical edition of Binchois’s song repertory, a project that was developed during his residency at the House of Polyphony.

Dedicated to the corpus of Alamire manuscripts and fragments, this symposium will provide a forum for the latest research findings while helping to shape future scholarship on this remarkable heritage. Sessions will be held at the House of Polyphony in Leuven and the Royal Library of Belgium in Brussels.
