In this project, all manuscripts (with the exception of a number currently inaccessible due to restoration) of fifteenth- and sixteenth-century polyphony in the Vatican Library will be digitized using state-of-the art digitization equipment. 44 manuscripts will be digitized, and include some of the most important surviving fifteenth- and sixteenth-century musical sources. The sources contain music by the most important Low Countries composersthe dominant composers of this period.
